Teaches Drums & Piano

About Phil

Hi, I’m Phil Conine, and I teach drums and piano. I’ve been playing music for over 20 years, and I graduated from the University of the Arts in 2017 with a degree in Jazz and Contemporary Performance. Along with teaching, I perform locally and abroad, and I spend a lot of time writing, recording, and producing—both my own music and projects with other artists in the area.

When it comes to lessons, I focus on what each student is most excited to learn, while still making sure we build a solid foundation in technique, rhythm, and musicianship. I aim to keep things fun, practical, and fulfilling—drawing from my line of teachers and experience as a working musician.
