About This Kids Music Class
Teachers begin each class by leading the Rock ‘N’ Rhythm Makers through energetic sing a-long songs, while the students use rhythmic instruments to encourage creativity and fun!
Children will also be able to explore rhythm by doing “call and response” games where they get to invent rhythmic ideas, as well as dance to music in different time signatures and play music themed games.
Rock ‘N’ Rhythm Makers is the perfect class for children who enjoy being active and love music! This class will be a fun way for kids to express themselves musically, learn how to work as a team, and prep for when they are ready to study an instrument!
Miss Sienna has taught early childhood education classes for several years! She loves to sing and dance, and designed Rock ‘N’ Rhythm Makers around movement, singing and rhythm to encourage children to have fun and be free to express themselves while learning music.
Miss Sienna graduated from the University of the Arts where she focused on vocal performance, teaching music and art, and vocal health. Some of Miss Sienna’s earliest memories are of music classes she took as a child, which she loved, and those classes influenced her throughout her childhood as she used her rhythmic skills in dance class, and continued to sing. Her love of music continued throughout her entire life, and she is thrilled to share her joy and excitement about music with children at Collingswood Sound.
*All participants must be potty trained. Parents are encouraged to wait in our facility for their children during the class. Please contact us if you have any questions!
