A few weeks ago, Collingswood Sound was interviewed by The Retrospect, a local paper in South Jersey, about our newly opened business! I was so excited to get the call that they wanted to do an interview about Collingswood Sound.
Since Collingswood Sound opened this September, Sean and I have been very busy creating advertisements, talking to new students and working on the final touches of our website and practice rooms, so when we got the call from Bethany from the Retrospect, it felt like our hard work was really paying off.
Sean and I have been enjoying every moment of working on Collingswood Sound Music Lessons, and all of us at Collingswood Sound are so happy to be at the point where we are accepting and meeting new students!
For me, being a music teacher is a dream come true. I have been able to meet so many different people with a wide array of musical goals, and seeing each student succeed and grow reminds me of when I was first learning about music, and how excited I was walking out of each lesson. Teaching doesn’t feel like a job at all, as I come to work everyday and get to share my love of music, and no two lessons are the same - even if the student is the same age, same level, and has the same musical goal, each student learns differently and I have the fun challenge of catering each lesson to the individual student. Between each lesson being entirely different and having the opportunity to work with energetic and passionate students, this line of work will never get old.
Thank you so much to The Retrospect for writing about us!
