About Noelle

Hi, I’m Noelle! I’m a vocalist and music educator, and I teach voice and piano. I grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ and went to Ithaca College in New York for a Bachelor of Music in music education.

I love music and believe it’s a core part of being human, no matter your skill level. That said, I have some techniques to help you sing and play your best! I hope that through lessons, students will know that music is accessible to them at any point in their lives, a space they can always return to, whether through listening, playing, creating or a mix of all three, as a hobby or a professional career.

How I got started

I started singing in choir. The fulfillment of learning, growing and creating with others pushed me to become a better vocalist and musician.

What I love to play

Classical, musical theater, popular music and jazz. Each one has its own way of conveying a message and emotion that can be played or sung creatively.

My advice for beginners

Keep practicing, practice makes permanent, and make sure you’re doing it for yourself.

A favorite teaching moment

Moments of realization, when students catch themselves improving and feel happy and motivated to keep going.

An obstacle I overcame

Learning how to practice was a hard-won battle. It took me a while to understand how to practice and the benefits of sticking with something long-term. The patience of my teachers, support from friends and my own goals helped me get there.

What’s next for me

I hope to further my music education to expand my craft and find more ways to help my students grow.
